QUICK USEFULL TIPS

Unit of Measurement
  • Cables in Indonesia use the meter (M) in length.
  • To measure the size per core cable we use milimeter square (mm2) .
  • AWG stands for American Wire Gauge, we know this is used in Belden cables. E.g 1032A is 1 pair of 18 AWG. 
  • Cut to length, PT Noxindo Cakrawala is able to supply your cutting length cable needs. 

Cable Tipe

  • NYY is Multicore (black).
  • NYA (yellow green or yellow) and NYAF (black) is always Single Core.
  • NYFGBY is armored cable for direct burial (black).

Color Code
  • Yellow Green stripes or full Green color on the Jacket. Consult your field technician or Project Manager.

Packing Length

  • Standard packing for electric power cable in Indonesia comes with wooden drum. 
  • Some electric power cablemanufacturer in Indonesia comes with hardened plastic drum.
  • NYM cable comes with 2 standard packing: @100 Meters in wrapped coils and 1000 Meters in wooden drum.
  • Belden cables are shipped in 305 meters (304,8 m) or 1000 Feet.
Handling
  • If available forklift at your project site it could handle the cable smoothly in project site

  • Saturday is available for delivery on urgent request.

MANUFACTURED CABLES 

Basicly almost all types of cable can be produce in Indonesia but manufacturer has to be efficient in generating stocks demands in sales forecast, cross referenced with demands. When it is not in stock, please ask us to produce the tipe of cable you require. 

NOTE: Manufactured cables takes 30 days to 45 days in regular. Manufacturer sometimes handles large quantity of orders so it would be wise to consider 60 days lead time for your project.
